Einat Betsalel

Einat Betsalel is the artistic director and creator of the residency project, residing in the village of Neve Shalom-Wahat al Salam. She is a pioneer in the field of dance and performance, a rehearsal director, and a producer in the art world.  She holds a bachelor's degree in management and sociology and a master's degree in nonprofit organizations management from the Hebrew University's Schwartz Program.

Betsalel began training in dance at an early age at the "Edna Betsalel School of Dance" in Nahariya. After completing her military service, she received the Excellence Scholarship from the American-Israel Cultural Foundation and continued her professional development in the "Hasadna Workshop" under the direction of Judith Arnon and Enav Levy.

Professionally, Betsalel has danced with various companies and ensembles, including inabal Pinto, Avshalom Pollak, the Israeli Opera, the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, Susan Dellal Center and choreographers as Ariel Cohen, Barak Marshall, Shlomi Bitton, Dana Rutenberg, Noa Shadur, and Yasmeen Goder, among others.

In addition to her artistic career, she expanded into project management and reviews. She managed reviews in the "Maslool" Dancer's qualification course, under the direction of Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. She worked as an artistic director at the Raanana Dance Center in the Cultural Department of the Raanana Municipality and produced dance festivals.

between 2022-24, Betsalel was working as the artistic director of the Pluralistic Spiritual Center, a joint Jewish-Arab cultural center in Neve Shalom-Wahat al Salam. There, she oversees various projects related to coexistence. today she is the director of NGO for pluralistic arts.

Caspi Emor

Mai Caspi Emor is an independent researcher specializing in cultural studies, performance arts, and dramaturgy. Over the past few years, she has held a variety of roles in various projects. She was a member of the steering committee for the conference "Habitus in Performing Arts Schools: Multiculturalism, Identity, and Contemporary Creation in Israel" (2022), a significant initiative supported by the Mandel Foundation. As the Artistic Director of the Reuven Moskowitz Foundation - Music for Peace, Mai Caspi Emor oversees a scholarship program for Nazareth's Zeriab Conservatory, headed by Sameer Makhoul.

Starting in August 2023, Mai Caspi Emor will assume the role of Producer for the "Maslol" School for Contemporary Dance TLV, under the artistic direction of Offir Dagan and Niv Marinberg. In addition to holding a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature and Creative Writing from Hebrew University, she is also enrolled in a Master's program in Contemporary Theater, Dance, and Dramaturgy.

Recognizing her dedication to innovation and excellence, Caspi-Emor received the 2022 Innovation Forum Prize from the globally respected organizations DARIAH-EU and Trinity College, a recognition shared with Uri Yahalom. Her achievements extend into the realm of digital art, evident in her collection titled "Imagined Choreographies." This collection has been showcased on esteemed platforms, including the "The Subversive" exhibition curated by the ARTIQ initiative, and featured in respected publications such as the London-based online magazine ÁJÍFA and the literature and art magazine WRITE-HAUS.

Khawlah Hag Debsy

Khawlah Hag Debsy is a theater and cinema actress, lecturer, and artistic director of the Ensemble Fringe Theater in Nazareth. Throughout her rich professional career, Debsy has held various positions, including educational administration for the Children of Peace organization (ילדי השלום), membership in the Israeli Cultural Council, director of the Arab Culture Department, member of the Professional Theater Department at the Ministry of Culture, and member of the Artistic Committee of the National Cultural Basket.

Khawlah Debsy has participated in numerous important festivals and events in Israel and abroad. She took part in the theater production "Women of Troy" (נשות טרויה), directed by renowned Japanese director Ninagawa, as part of a joint project between the Cameri Theater and the Metropolitan Theater in Tokyo. She also participated in the Berlin Film Festival and the Haifa International Film Festival with the film "Rock the Casbah" (רוק בקסבה), which won the E.A.C.I.C. award.

She has acted in several Israeli theaters such as The Maidan, The Sira'ah, The Cameri, Jaffa, and the Theater of Life in Ramla. In addition, she played leading roles in several films, including "Trumpet in the Wadi" (חצוצרה בואדי), "Close to Home" (קרוב לבית), "Weekend in Tel Aviv" (סוף שבוע ת"א), "Adam and Eve" (אדם וחווה), "Moses" (משה רבנו), "Samuel" (סמואל), and "Out in the Dark" (עלטה).

Furthermore, during her work in Israeli television, Khawlah Hag Debsy performed various roles in drama, comedy, and satirical works, including "Fauda" (פאודה), "False Flag" (כפולים), "Polishuk" (פולישוק), and "Avoda Aravit" (עבודה ערבית).

Debsy has won several important awards throughout her professional career, including the first prize at the Akko Theater Festival for Best Production, first place in acting at the Masraheed Festival for the play "Hila Hop" (הילה הופ), Best Film Award at the Haifa International Film Festival, Best Actress Award at the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival (Florida ,United States), and the first prize with praise in the acting category for her performance in the play "Media-X" (מדיאה–אקס). Additionally, she was nominated for the Ophir Award for Best Actress for her role in the film "Rock the Casbah" (רוק בקסבה).

Rasha Hlaihel

Rasha Khalikhal is the producer of the LOCALI program. She completed her studies in film and television at Tel-Hai College, followed by a period of residence in Jerusalem, where she earned a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.

Her journey began as a night instructor in a project for the "ELEM" association, supporting homeless young women. Subsequently, she assumed a new role in the field of "at-risk youth," established under the auspices of the Youth Advancement Authority, an organization funded by the municipality of Jerusalem. In this capacity, she catalyzed social change within the LGBTQ+ Arab community in Jerusalem, focusing on locating and assisting at-risk youth, advocating for their rights, providing care, and facilitating their integration into society and the workforce.

Rasha also contributed to the field of production and management at the "Sulha" association, fostering dialogue between Palestinians and Israelis who seek understanding and communication.

Currently, Rasha is dedicated to investigative journalism for the TV program "Sorry for the Question," produced by LOCALI. Simultaneously, she is expanding her skills in graphic design.
